Peace, to the far and near

Prayer: Merciful Lord, you have the power of peace and goodwill in your hands. Thank you for trusting us with your word and directions for peace. Though we often misunderstand and overlook to great gifts of Love and Mercy you have given us, we must be inspired by the your ultimate gift of Love in your son, Jesus Christ. Please, Lord, enable us to hear and act in the ways of your word, through Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace. Amen.

Prayer: Thank you, gracious and loving God, for keeping the light of your love shining on us. Though, merciful Lord, we often burden ourselves with the darkness of negativity and forfeit our goodwill in spite of all we've learned about your word through Jesus Christ. With each of our gifts, Lord, help us to make this world a better place in Jesus' name. Amen

Prayer: In these days following Easter, we are reminded of the love and sacrifice of Jesus for us. Though, Lord, our transgressions are many. With the resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ, there is new life in us, our sins forgiven, our lives renewed. Wake us, Lord, from sleep into your loving Grace. Amen.

Strength to live the word...

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for giving me, with your mercy and grace, the loving care of your word. At times, though, I question how to use this voice you've given me. Please. Lord, give me the strength and courage to live your word and carry the teachings of your Son, Jesus Christ into and through each day. Amen.
